@JohnAutry The centerpiece of Supertramp's golden trilogy* (after Crime of the Century and before Even in the Quietest Moments).

*I have observed that many bands have a distinct rise, a peak, and a drop off. The key is to identify the "golden trilogy" of their work- the three albums that are their best stuff.

A lot of the time their most commercially successful album is the third in the trilogy. In Supertramp's case, it's actually one after the trilogy (Breakfast in America). I think Breakfast is a good album, but not as artistically good as the previous three.

A lot of the time the drop off comes from the band transitioning from artistic excellence to commercial success.
