Since I was a child in the late 1950s to the present day, I've watched Cis women and girls viciously policing the gender expression of other cis women and girls, their internalized misogyny on full display.
My mother complained about it, but then did it to others, scorning her mother as unfeminine for a distinguished career as an Army officer (WAC) during WWII, then as an executive in government service.
Cis women in the hundreds of millions, base their entire lives on conforming to white patriarchal ideals of femininity to a self destructive, even life threatening degree, without having their woman card revoked by both white and non-white men and women.
I object to the idea of #trans women being held to a higher standard than cis women.
We have the fundamental human right to be just as messy and complicated in life as those Assigned Female At Birth #AFAB.
