@platypus @Sophie lets just all use passkeys instead, a concept with implementations so bad that I don’t think I ever want to interact with them if I can avoid it, but apparently ergonomics don’t matter if It’s More Secure

Maybe someone can write a javascript page that logs into a mailbox, waits for those mails and opens the link automatically...

Now all you gotta trust is that the script does not send your mailbox login data to evil people.

@platypus @mwl This is especially bad in the case of Taco Bell. I can no longer use their app because tacobell.com earned a spot on the SpamCop blocklist.
