This, actually, is bullshit. If your clock is "aligned to the sun" you sleep through additional hour of daylight in the summer (unless you're one of the unfortunate people who have to get up at 5am to get to work), but in winter it's already dark when you come home from work. This is because most people have working hours from 8 or 9 am to 4 or 5pm, so the noon (ie 12 o'clock) comes close to… exactly, not to the middle of their "day" defined as "from waking up to falling sleep", but to the middle of their working shift. There's nothing fair to the fact that the employers wanted to save on lighting costs and forced employees to work through the daylight period, so that during winter the free time falls almost completely after dark.
