@DavidAnson IMHO a GPU would count as Arithmetic Logic Unit rather than an Execution Unit
@devopscats Haha! While this was just a joke reply, I did a little research since I’m a software person not a hardware person… :)
Apparently an execution unit is part of a processing unit and that typically refers to CPU but *can* refer to GPU. So I figured the joke worked. But I don’t know enough to have a specific opinion.
@DavidAnson my opinion comes from what I learned in Electrical Engineering many years ago, but is no doubt out of date these days
