Observing a quiet #CoatiMonday with a vintage piece. You may have wondered whether the O'Reilly book series ever got a coati on a cover and, in the early 2000s, they did, using whatever 19th-century lithograph this is.

Sad for me, the book was one I didn't have any possible use for and was too expensive to have for just the mild souvenir value. And the book is now so out of print it isn't even listed on the Animal Menagerie search engine at https://www.oreilly.com/animals.csp

I may have retired for the moment @bakertoons's sweet trophy icon of me, but that doesn't mean the thought is wholly out of my mind. For this #CoatiMonday let me share my own take on the same premise, me just Gumping around, hanging out and sometimes messing with people who didn't notice me on the wall there. Again, don't worry about where my body is or what it's up to or how I'll get out of this fix; it's just a hangout.

Observing the last #CoatiMonday of March with a last look at a lava lamp. This is a color variant that FA/techno. did of me in a plastic, hot, and slightly psychedelic version. Love to bring a bit of glow to your lives like this.

Happy Eclipse #CoatiMonday! I didn't get a proper eclipse-themed picture together. Maybe for next time. But I've breen busy what with falling prey to Grape Dragon's scheme to build an army of goopified targets! And here I am, mutating to be grape, of course, but also vaporous. You know, it's not that bad, really, I could get into this and maybe fool some genies into thinking I'm one of them.

I want to share my view of what happened during the #eclipse last #CoatiMonday, and as you can see from my own illustration here --- original at https://www.furaffinity.net/view/56280727/ --- I was having a perfectly fine time snagging and running off with the sun and I do not know why everybody else had to make such a big deal of it and get all tense and everything!

Also I'm really happy with how I drew my eyes here. That looks happy.

Happy #CoatiMonday and I celebrate Earth Day by recyling a pose! But the background and the planet are new so that's something worth your look, isn't it?

I apologize that there's not more to this picture but I realized in the shower this morning that it would be pretty easy to adapt the eclipse picture (see last week, or see https://www.furaffinity.net/view/56280727 ) to fit the day.

And a happy first really warm #CoatiMonday of the year! I have mentioned friends have helped lower my melting point to where I can get pretty fluid, which is always fun.

That's not to say I never feel overwhelmed by things or need to pace a little but at least that way, it's more fun.

Fun fact this #CoatiMonday: coatis belong to the superfamily Musteloidea, so the things you learn from drawing weasels and martens and otters teach you about drawing us. And like my distant cousins we enjoy a phenomenal natural innocence! See how good and nice I look?

This is mostly a quick doodle to test out some Procreate brushes that @Alairthephoenix sent me, in response to my hope for a brush that would make my art look more better-er. I'm liking this first test.

This #CoatiMonday I show you a sure way to beat the summer heat: be a water-filled pooltoy! Remember to leave some space so that, if the heat gets *really* bad, you can hide in the freezer a while without causing trouble. Also, pro tip: you want to be sure you've really exercised whatever it is pooltoys have instead of muscles to pull this look off.

Whoops! Well, that's a good way to see me hanging around frozen in place for an unknown number of #CoatiMonday appearances to come!

I drew this last year --- posted at https://www.furaffinity.net/view/52735462/ --- to mark the end of my rather long streak of having a fresh drawing to post every day. I'd hoped to get back to a regular posting schedule and didn't, so, uh, whoops.

But this was a chance to stretch my usual 'public domain funny-animal comic book' style to cover 'early-60s Jay Ward style', featuring the Moon Men Gidney and Cloyd and their Scrooch Ray. And to try drawing myself in something that might resemble that particular style they had going in the early 60s. Not sure I got it, but Gidney and Cloyd were fun to draw, and the curtain surprisingly gratifying.

A most cheerful #CoatiMonday to you all! As a birthday present my dear bride commissioned non-furry-artist Meike Wallum to depict me in the style of a 1950s funny-animal comic book and goodness but isn't this perfect? Just a delight all around and I can't get enough of looking at this.

The snake isn't any particular character but, based on my Vore Day picture this year, seems to have an interest in getting into my maw. Must admit, I get it; the coati mouth really is that good.

The coati pose is based on whatever it looks like any time anyone has some food above a raccoon's or coati's head, at least until the jumping-on starts. And hey, for once the fingers have a clear distinct identity and aren't some wobbly blob!

It's the #CoatiMonday before Sweetest Day, so I could hardly post anything but a picture with my sweetest, BunnyHugger. We've long made a very happy pair and thanks to a very flexible YCH by FA/Tio-Raine, here we are as a pair of slippers together!
