I’ve been really impressed at how much Bluesky has filled the void I’d been feeling post-Twitter. I gave Threads a try, eventually found the clickbait algorithm to be maddening.

Hard to put a finger on why it’s meeting that need better than Mastodon, but I think the density of accounts from adjacent spaces (politics, science, journalism, sports) on Bluesky has felt more robust than it has here.

@rklau My take? They serve different purposes.

Bluesky is more about reach (follower count) while Mastodon is more about connection (reciprocity).
