Slang shading language and tooling is now a Khronos project (was an nvidia project for past umpteen years). This is exciting! GLSL seems to be frozen with no future, whereas Slang is not only actively developed, but also brings in a lot of language features that sound useful. @aras It’s pretty cool Khronos has included the slangc in the lates VulkanSDK. I’ve just updated my toy engine’s shader compiler to use that instead of the glslangValidator. But for some reason, slangc generated SPIRV with embedded debug info crashes my AMD driver when creating pipeline… not sure if there’s a bug in AMD driver.
