The people in 2024 screaming at trans people to use separate bathrooms are the same people in 1954 who were screaming at black people to sit at separate counters, or use separate drinking fountains.

@Lana What's weirder (or perhaps expected) is how many didn't care or were even supportive of trans people only a few years ago. Power hungry hypocritical psychopaths who shouldn't be in positions of power.

@reallyflygreg @Lana There was a trans person on a British soap in the last 90s. No one cared. Maybe some idiots made jokes, but that was it. Donโ€™t get the hate at all.

@TheWolfOfSouthEnd @Lana as far as I can tell it's purely a way to create a enemy in order to grab power. We've seen it through history over and over again by dictatorial types. They always pick minority groups because they can't fight back usually.
