I’m excited to be in the home stretch of the #msq for #ffxiv #shadowbringer
It seems people in general didn’t like Stormblood but I liked the villains in both the MSQ and Patch stories so those helped keep it engaging. The villains in Shadowbringers have been equally interesting and I can’t wait to see where the story goes
Overall both xpacs have been enjoyable
My biggest struggle is landing on a job to stick with. Bard was too rng based. SAM was complex. VPR feels slow at 80
@neff VPR definitely picks up as you get closer to 100 with abilities to weave both between finished combos, but also during burst actions. Otherwise maybe MNK or MCH would be options for you - both play like clockwork too, and while MNK is the faster paced one, MCH has quite some speed during overheat as well.
Otherwise the inability to "land on a job to stick with" isn't really an issue if you're having fun!

Yeah I figured I’d wait until I was at level before judging viper. So far the solo damage has been nice so I’m not complaining
Monk and MCH were the other two dps I was eyeing and I’m sure I’ll level them at some point.
After I get to 100 I’m thinking of pushing myself and trying a tank or healer since I normally default to dps to “hide” some
