Besides the ACA (IRA is way to recent to matter) what BIG things have the Dems fought and bled to get passed over GOP opposition? When the answer is elusive, people see you are willing to cave on *anything* to 'keep the lights on'. That means YOU are expendable to them should the conditions line up.
