@ambivalena I love photographing this church. I have been there many times and photographed it from every angle, both on film and digital.
I love the isolation and the emptiness. But looks are deceiving. There is a road behind the church and a lovely sandy beach. There are usually parked cars and people everywhere. You have to go at the crack of dawn to get a photo like this… and hope there are no overnight campervans in the church carpark or by the road.
I understand that, some motifs have a way to appeal some things in our minds, perhaps even in a subconsious way.
