The dividing line between MC and SC is thin in my WIP. We see each of their POV at various times. If Shiomi was the narrative character we would see more emotions and a narrator whose perception of what is happening is warped. ITomo would mean a more logical and ego-centric narrative. Kan--chan come in late in the story so it would start at a very different point and the focus would be on the Tomo and Kan-chan relationship.
