Nearly 24 hours ago I predicted this!

Both CNN and AP are now reporting that the spread in popular vote between Trump and Harris is less than 3 million, or about 2% (maybe lower soon).

That's a lower margin of victory than any other popular vote win since Richard Nixon.

If you're wondering why the mainstream media isn't reporting just how mediocre Trump's win actually is…

Exactly. 🙄

Furthermore, the Democrats keep overperforming in House races. I won't be surprised if in the final reckoning, the GOP hardly shifted the balance of power at all.

The reason it's so important to push back on the bullshit around the Repub "mandate" is because "MAGA" is oversold. Trump remains a uniquely charismatic figure, but many voters consistently *don't actually want* what he's peddling.

Is it confusing? Yes!

Don't give up!

Great to see other people picking up on the fact that Trump's victory in terms of popular vote is historically teeny-weeny.

Trump’s Historically Small Victory

I honestly did not read most of this article, but I wanted to draw your attention to some facts about the recent presidential elec

@jaredwhite The Republicans control the Senate, House AND the presidency. That's all that really matters. Democrats need to do some soul-searching to understand how they screwed this up so badly.

@bluto1 Sure.

And also the right-wing disinformation machine trapped a lot of people in news bubbles where they literally did not understand what's actually going on. Spoon-fed propaganda on a level that would make Bagdad Bob nod approvingly.

Both can be true.
