@amiserabilist @JonBaker it is amazing and on a certain level fascinating that decades of calling out the hypocrisy of Christianity resulted in a Christianity in America that is entirely divorced from the teachings of Christ.

Like the evangelicals and catholics were all "Reject hatred and bigotry? Not seek material wealth? Reject the creation of mega churches? But those are the parts of our religions that we love!"
