PSA: plantar fasciitis really sucks. Do strength and mobility work before you have a problem. (been through a few boughts over the years but getting older, woooo)

@joebeone it also doesn't ever fully go away. In addition to a series of daily stretches, orthotics have helped me. (I have high arches and their arch support has been clutch.)

For preventative care, my advice is to make sure your stride isn't too long and stretch your calves regularly. If your heels start hurting, do not power through it. Take it easy and stretch your calves and arches a few times a day until the pain subsides.
