I don't think I've actually posted anything from my adventure game yet? It's just a short and free point-and-click adventure for the Ann Arbor District Library about local Ann Arbor figure Dr. Chase, who made a book of recipes in the late 1800s. The game will use his recipes real puzzle solutions, but I don't actually recommend making them in real life

Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library IA Book of the Week: Dr. Chase's Recipes

Every week, the Fisher library highlights an item from one of its many collections available on the Internet Archive. This week, Rachael takes a look at an interesting book from our Canadiana Collection.

What if I keep making adventure games about very specific local stuff? There could be a Michigan Dogman game

Well, maybe not, if this is all it takes to defeat it
“can be deterred by clapping loudly”
@MichaelKlamerus
Unless you play *as* the dogman and this is one of the types of death screens.
@MichaelKlamerus Michiganders are leaving a lot on the table by not going all-in on the Dogman.
@MichaelKlamerus I was so delighted to see Dogmen make a regular appearance in NEO Scavenger's post-apocalyptic SE Michigan.
@danana_dread ok, I need to play NEO Scavenger now then. I knew where it was set and it's been sitting in my backlog for a long time. I just never got around to playing it
@MichaelKlamerus that walk cycle 😂 so jaunty.
@MichaelKlamerus due for an appearance in 3 years!
@MichaelKlamerus I did not know it was based on a real person! That’s kind of cool lol
@MichaelKlamerus that’s fascinating. I do a little home brewing but it’s been a while. You’ll have to celebrate with a couple bottles of Sham-Champagne when it’s done. 💪
