im new to fedi. i'd like to know; is there anyway to do an inline image from a remote source? i tried the typical markdown method but i don't think it works. a little worried about the drive space and it'd be nice to use my website, plus sometimes i want the image at the top. thanks!

@maebubsy Hello! The drive space will increase in a week or so. Here on transfem.social we have a role called "sprout" which limits your drive storage space for a week. It'll go up to 15gb (I believe? I'd have to check). As for inline images and posts with images at the top to my knowledge that's not supported. They're attached below, which is frustrating to get used to (I came from tumblr, where my link previews and stuff could be embedded in the middle of a post).

@maebubsy yeah the restriction is temporary just to avoid potential misuse of our drive storage. It's aimed at people who just wanted to register an acc to use this place as a storage provider instead of a social media site. I don't particularly care if people "hotlink" images from our cdn elsewhere though
