Several days later now - I have to say I'm torn. -I'm considering leaving here.

There's something definitely wrong here in Pixelfed's general attitude that would pretend like everything is normal.

It may be what some of you need, but as a trans person, this dissonance is frankly toxic. I find myself trying to strike a balance between my love for the simple imagery, and the fact that there may soon come a day where I find flags and trucknuts in my drive, gunfire, and death.

This is what our new era brings. I've always cared for whats real, whats the truth to things. This plastic disposition is killing me..
