I've been telling people to start a list of everyone they know who voted for trump -- keep it and save it for when the time is right.
@jaykuo the "good" news is also that if Project 2025 is enacted, the US won't be the world's dominant super power by 2030 any more...
You will become impoverished (except for the billionaire class), sick, with probably one the lowest life expectancies (vaccines, food and workplace safety, environmental issues, natural disasters) in the developed world, falling behind in the sciences (don't expect any Nobel prizes after '35 for the US).
I'll start practicing my A1 level Mandarin now...
@jaykuo Trump will convince them that they are sacrificing to alter the character of country for the better and they will lap it up.
[TRUMP LADLES A HUGE HELPING OF POVERTY INTO THEIR BOWLS]
"Please sir, may I have some more?!"
@jaykuo and a terrible day for those who didn’t vote: either because they had the right stolen from them, or because they just couldn’t bother.
Mostly though - those who refrained in protest, or to some way “send a message” - didn’t actually _choose_better_ but _did_nothing_ ceding triumph to evil.
Americans needed to win a literal domestic war with fascism; starting decades behind. FFS can’t even pretend that American exceptionalism is anything other than kleptocracy.
