Remember when Solas explained to us in Inquisition (I think it was during his personal quest) that a spirit can be twisted into a demon by forcing it to do something that's against its nature? The friend we were saving was a spirit of wisdom who had turned into a pride demon. It was a mirror of himself. A spirit of wisdom, forced into a body and into war by Mythal, turning into a pride demon.
You know what would have made the Darkspawn thingy less awkward? Instead of "Mythal'enaste. Darkspawn." from Bellaria, it would have made more sense if it was more like:
B: "Are those... Darkspawn?"
H: "They don't look like the Darkspawn I've seen."
R: "Whatever it is, I'm not about to let it eat my face. Let's go."
You know, just acknowledging that they look vastly different... 🤷♀️
Yeah, I know they do mention that they're looking different, but somehow it feels weird.

@dreadfulsanity I got obliterated on the first dragon fight, which made me realize that the whole fighting thing was waaay too hard for some reason, while I was on default setting.
...and apparently the reason was that I was trying to do it on console. Idk what you are using, but with console (on pc at least) you are about 3x slower than with a mouse/keyboard (or in my case, xpaddered console) pairing. It did the animation in almost slow motion for me so in a boss fight I simply didn't have the time to fire off any spells whatsoever, OR a staff attack either, because even immediately hitting it after a dodge I'd get hit again before it finished.
I put the dodge on scroll down and now I keep forgetting I have a shield too lol! Can still die but it's user error now...
I didn't see anything about this bug anywhere tho and it's not in the bug fix they rolled out either unless in the general balancing fixes section.
@jlsigman That is a very good question. Remind me when I play a Warden. 🙈 I mean, Davrin can sense them, meaning even though the Blight and the Darkspawn are different, it's still the Blight at its core. Though it is weird and sings weird. Weirder as normal.
While I do prefer the grittier ones in DA:O, I can work with the explanation on why it's different this time. And those blighted areas are... yuck.
