@HilliTech Hi Wes, as I was listening to today’s episode I found myself thinking about the never ending struggle for governments to add backdoors to encryption. It seems inevitable now. I was wondering your thoughts, how likely do you think that will be, under the new administration?
@GrouchyM it's as unlikely as it was the first time. They ask for it and it goes to court and it loses. The risk is greater now than ever, but I don't see it happening. Especially not after the telecom hack using government mandated wiretap portals placing election officials devices at risk.

Two senior presidential campaign officials' iPhones maybe hacked by Chinese group

Evidence suggests that the earlier Chinese Salt Typhoon breach of American telecoms may have led to the potential hacking of two presidential campaign officials' iPhones.
