LindaMaeTX@rbreich Thank you for posting on Mastodon as well as Substack. I believe we will need to start conversing more in information foxholes that the techbros don’t own. The federated nature of Mastodon helps insulate itself from overreaching powers and I’m hoping that a Canadian owning Substack will help that platform. Anne Applebaum suggested using Spread. Do you have an opinion on that app? Also, I appreciate you moving on from the blame game. Time to gear up and work the problem at hand.

What many need are affordable apartments - meaning get corporations and cartel algorithms out of the pricing, and start changing zoning rules that only allow for single-family dwellings. The house-boom idea leads to more sprawl, lowering quality of life (and we're running out of 'nature' as it is in suburbia).
Not everybody needs a house. They do need an affordable place to live near their work.

We have arrived at oligarchny. Not surprised since Donnie Numbnuts adores his lover Vlad. What gets me is all of these people simply reacting out of anger and not thinking things through. They got lied to and sucked it up willingly. There will of course be a time when all of the lies come to roost. But it may be too late and the damage may already be done. After all. what qualifies Elon Musk to be anywhere near government besides the fact that he cozies up to the Orange Menace?
