thoughts on Amsterdam civil disorder:

- Maccabi Tel Aviv (and all Israeli teams) should not have been allowed to compete in UEFA competitions
- Demos supporting Palestine were already out of sight of soccer match, Maccabi supporters went into the city centre and saw pro Palestine symbols.
- Timeline shows provocation from Maccabi supporters (chants, flag destruction, attacks) prior to retaliation by Amsterdam residents

- Travelling football supporters who start shit can't then call the ensuing beatdown a "pogrom", and people using that word really need to check themselves.
- This was political, hooliganistic, Islamophobic, initiated by the Maccabi supporters and weaponised by pro zionist media.
-Islamophobic narratives will predominate corporate media, show solidarity with anyone who is or is coded Muslim.

Anyone with further evidence pertaining to facts please bring it.

@anilmc and of course, our rightwinger politicians immediately scream bloody murder about it, while not having said a word about the genocide over the past few years. hypocrite shits.
@anilmc
I read about this first in mainstream Israeli media and it sounded like Israeli fanswere trespassing on homes to pull down flags, and got payback after the game. I guess it was before it was decided on a spin
