Cool cool cool, a sizeable number of folks I look up to have been hired by Anthropic in the past few years. How long they’ll stay now will tell me how much I should keep looking up to them: https://techcrunch.com/2024/11/07/anthropic-teams-up-with-palantir-and-aws-to-sell-its-ai-to-defense-customers/

@Npars01 yes, thank you for making my point back to me.

It's a habit of mine to amplify good posts with additional information.

It was directed at readers who might want to know more about your post or get more context.

@Npars01 I see, I’m not of the view that my mastodon posts are a public wiki to be added to at will, but I do understand the point of view. ✌️

@janl

Mastodon doesn't have Algorithmic Amplification.

To have a post read more widely, it has to be done manually by human beings.

@Npars01 I also do absolutely have no need mastodon explained to me or have me convinced of the opposite if the view I just outlined. ✌️

@janl

I wasn't explaining it to you. The amplification was directed at people reading your post.

If you do not want your post read by a wider audience beyond your personal followers, let your readers know.
