all the ones I was raised with are still around-- as you know, the stupid things are practically indestructible unless destroyed by an expert. What i was made to use them for when I was kid wasn't too bad, at least it's behind me. What keeps me up from time to time is what they might be used for next.

@alice addendum: erm, sorry for all that. Would you happen to have any resources you'd recommend to learn more about first aid?

@gardencourt @alice I did the basic training to be an office first aider a few years ago, and they recommended the Red Cross app for a reference. It has some quizzes and guides in there as well.
