So there was an election a couple of days ago, and I don't really know how to feel about it. I'm no longer really sure anyone actually knows anything when it comes to politics, but they sure do say it confidently.

Maybe the Democrats actually did the right thing, the only possible thing, and still lost. Who knows? I can't tell any more. If Trump can do what he's done, be the person he is, and win the popular vote, nothing makes sense to me any more. So I can't get angry about it.

I think I'll just stop reading the news for the next four years. I'll probably be happier.

@hawthornbunny I haven't lived there in about 16 years now, but it does genuinely hurt to see the country I grew up in actively harm itself in ways that seem to get worse as time goes on.

There were many governments that had the majority behind them. Nevertheless, what they stood for and what they did was absolutely wrong.

In this election people's vote were guided by hate. History will judge about that too.
