Teaching net bag making at the first departmental Biodiversity Fair, a celebration of all the different cultures in biosciences. This was made slightly more complicated by my poorly thought out decision to put one hand out of action by getting henna'd.

An event celebrating how valuable diversity is in our department feels very timely right now, and given that one of the organisers is American I suspect the choice of date was not coincidental.

@afewbugs 💚 now I feel like having samosas 😄 I'm from India where henna (mehendi) is very much a part of our culture but I've never seen a stencil being used - that's very clever! :)
@manisha they were painting it on with the cones too, but used the stencils to be faster when they had a lot of people 😊
