only shift when i use caps
mostly bc i don’t like a stateful key, it messes with the "default" key map my brain has for each key
(which as i’m touch-typing a layout that’s not physically written on the keyboard is already enough :’D)
@elise (like if im pressing alt or shift and another key i know i’m changing its meaning, but a stateful key changes the default key and i don’t work well with that)

- if it's a text entirely in caps yes.
- if it's just a word that I want to emphasize I use shift because of the irrational feeling of capslock conveying an intention of sound intensity more than emphasis
