I find Flighty to be a well designed app but its flight data is pretty bad. The flight was delayed 9 hours ago and it still has no idea.
@ivanpavlov I love the app too, but for me it also doesn’t always live up to the hype. I believe it’s because US flights have data centralised and the rest does not, which makes it pretty US centric
@lexpostma I wish they were more transparent about the quality of data. There is nothing wrong with offering different products in different markets based on data availability but instead it is super pushing into the expensive Pro subscription which is frankly worthless in this case.
@ivanpavlov I really like the UI and all the tracking and friends features, and had more flights than usual this year (9 flights, not a frequent flyer), so was okay with paying the annual Pro this year. But indeed, it hasn’t really lived up to the expectations @rjj and team are setting. I usually fly about twice a year within Europe.
