ivaliyaChapter 32 of Kemutai Hanashi was released today, I read it in the morning, it's time to go to bed now... but I'm still thinking about it. It hit hard. I knew at some point this question might arise but I didn't quite expect how raw, desperate and still heartfelt it's going to be. The only thing I won't survive with this manga is a tragic/sad ending. Nope, not with this one please.
Nobody (except one person who got me hooked on it) reads it or knows about it. But I can at least get stuff out of my system here
Second part of chapter 32 impressed me with its setting. Early New Year morning with deserted streets, not a single person around. Magical time. When you truly feel separated from the world. It's reminiscent of the empty winter beach in early chapter, which also isolated the boys from everyone else. It can't be like this forever. You can't ignore the rest of the world. But for these life-changing or meaningful moments it's so fitting

Chapter 35: I missed Takeda and here he is in such a warm and cosy chapter. Buying some domestic stuff together, making comments on some trivia and blooming trees, walking home and chatting about everything and nothing. Slice of life in its purest and loveliest form. But then there's also that promise for umeshu during the plum season. So sudden but so meaningful and hopeful 🤍
