does anyone know how to use `carla-vst-wine`? i'm trying to use it with #FLStudio but i can't get it to work. i'm on #NixOS, musnix is installed as a flake (i think, i have `musnix.enable = true` in my config and it didn't error out), and i have the `carla` package installed i've tried putting the files from `/usr/lib/winvst/` from [this .deb (direct download)](https://launchpadlibrarian.net/750711107/carla-vst-wine_2.6.0~git20240921-1kxstudio1_amd64.deb) into `~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Common Files/VST2/`, `~/.vst/`, and even a folder i created myself, `/usr/lib/winvst/`. i also tried all of them at once, idk what to do #linux #linuxaudio #kxstudio #musicproduction #wine *also dw i'll remove the `/usr/lib` directory i know it's not supposed to be there* (edit: the .deb link comes from https://kxstudio/Repositories:Applications)
i'm actually an idiot no way i think i got it remember when i was talking about `carla-vst-wine` and how to install it on #NixOS? yeah well i saw some talk about having to enable some of Carla's experimental features to be able to use it, but i never saw the experimental tab in the config... until i looked a little closer #linuxaudio #musicproduction 📎
