@MsMerope Maybe not, but this is (one) case of blatant greed exhibiting itself in a legal filing. I have heard similar from people in the tech industry (who I avoid). i.e. "so what, we'll make millions of dollars, who cares if it doesn't work/hurts people/is a scam/etc."
