Tee hee
@aronow I guess I identify as a Release Candidate Male: more or less feature complete but I could use the community’s help in finding bugs.
@aronow Every time I hear an "alpha" male refer to another person as a "beta" (which they intend as an insult, of course) I think "Meh, I'll wait for the dot one patch release"
@aronow
Any self-described "alpha male" is the prime example of a beta cuck.

@aronow I like this meme we're generating in the replies.

Me: legacy male; generally dependable, but a pain in the ass a lot of the time and has trouble with efficiency.

That's far too accurate for my comfort.

@aronow I am at LEAST a release candidate male. _Probably_ ready for public consumption, but has the chance of a random breakdown, and may need to be replaced quickly.

@aronow

It is the beta male, running in front, who only seems to lead the wolf pack. The alpha male is in the back, hanging with the females,   … until responding to some crisis.

Humans are – fundamentally, basically – just another mammal.

@aronow funnily enough a “beta” release is feature complete with just a few problems in need of being ironed out.
@aronow
If you look at wolves: the alpha usually is not the strongest, most ruthless - but the organisier, the mediator.
