Do you think we could manage to take private news media ownership off the table entirely? There are a very few such (e.g. The Guardian) that have done this of their own accord. Is there too much inertia standing in the way to make news media "co-op" across the board?
God forbid that Bezos and WaPo had actually endorsed Harris and then, hear me out....sway voters to vote for Harris so she can win the election and he wouldn't have to worry about the tariffs that asshole wants to impose.
I know. Weird concept.
Well, in our liberal regimes we have several layers of obfuscation.
Between the corporate media and our electoral process full of obstacles against candidates who actually want to change things for the better but that maintain plausible deniability I'd say It's not that difficult to understand why lots of people believe we have fully functional democracies
