@stroughtonsmith I have a 4th gen sitting somewhere at home. But the size factor does not fits me anymore. Remember that the gen 4 was already a big bump at the time. Those numbers are just 🤯
@stroughtonsmith that’s quite something. Though for the price (and the fact that I basically only use it as a YouTube machine) I’ll stick to my 5th gen for a while longer.
@stroughtonsmith all processors will show drift, geek bench doesn’t make values comparable between major releases. But no one uses gkb 4 any more, it’s better to use gkb6 I think since these numbers are comparable to the results people are used to seeing the past couple of years, which is why I provided them

I was just adding to the conversation details that were not shared, especially because the numbers you presented are easily confusing in 2024. But anyone who looks at all carefully will see that you were posting geekbench 4 numbers; you didn’t do anything wrong. :)
