@VeroniqueB99 while being closer to progressive side of the politics, limitless abortion right is the only thing that doesn't fit in my head completely.
I don't know why but it feels... Wrong..?
@VeroniqueB99 i complitly agree your argument about gender equality
By the way, I don't have a strong opinion on abortion, I'm not even of adult age and abortion is not a subject I decided on yet.
My hesitation about abortion is not because women's choice in their body.i am in full support on any other decisions
I have general preconception when I am thinking about politics or any other philosophical mater. ( I am out of letters I am making a part 2)
@VeroniqueB99 (pt.2) my precondition is "human life is holly". This "hollynes" isnt a religious hollynes but it's a must for future of our civilization.
In each day I fell like we are getting treated getting closer to a dystopia that humans getting treated like animals, act like animals in primitive instinct and remembering we are not just Corbon but.... Wtf I am saying. It was about abortion
I lost track of my on own logic wtf.what I was trying to write ? Anyways have a nice day.
@weqb @VeroniqueB99 I have the same way of thinking about politics and all. I add we shouldn't be discussing human life in terms of vague ideological retoric.
By allowing unrestricted abortion we're giving green light to eugenic politics (you can just abort the genetics you don't like), and further dehumanization of vulnerable people in name of "liberty" and "gender equality".
Today, it is said it's okay to kill (not with that word ofc) am embryo or a fetus because it doesn't resemble a human or whatever. Tomorrow we may end up with even more vague and permissible criteria, like "it does not feel pain", "it does not know what happens to it, so it won't suffer". Stuff that may be applied to infants and elders as well.
And it's no slippery slope. IT IS going to happen, because we are trading absolute values (all human life is sacred) for things based on lesser values and even vices (my liberty, my body, I do what I want, I don't want responsibilities, the list goes).
It's a line that should not be crossed imho.
Disclaimer: I'm 100% against abortions, except in cases of life-threatening risk to the mother. Not looking for internet wars, I'm friendly.
