I VOTED!!!
"Your ballot was returned to and received by your County Board of Elections on 06/10/2024. Your ballot was counted."
I can put my sticker onto my diary now!

@SaareMartha just so you don't scare TOO many folks - the date notation is in DD/MM/YYYY.

In America; in Eurp it's MM/DD/YY

@SaareMartha @KamalaHarrisWin perhaps I'm confused. In USA common date notation is MM/DD/YYYY. I am quite familiar with European common date notation as DD/MM/YYYY. The date you referenced was 06/10/2024 and my (USA) interpretation of that would have been June 10, 2024. I don't believe any elections board was actually counting ballots that early. So my logical interpretation would be the European notation.

@SaareMartha @KamalaHarrisWin

And I would have interpreted it to be October 06, 2024 - a mere 18 days later than your post and well within where early balloting was being counted (again, I believe).

So -- to clarify for me, not trying to be confrontational here, is it October 06 or June 10 as the date you intended to be interpreted?

@SaareMartha @KamalaHarrisWin

Thank you very much for that clarification. I truly appreciate the quick response!

#IVoted in SC yesterday!!!!

@terag1e @KamalaHarrisWin
Interesting... I didn't write that date. It came from the NYC Board of elections. Maybe they wrote it Euro-style because it was an absentee ballot from Estonia

@SaareMartha @KamalaHarrisWin

Ahhh -- That makes much more sense. Although to be fair, it is not totally unheard of to come across a European style date notation in our lives here! But it does always lead to a bit of confusion!

And THANK YOU from voting from abroad!
