Using Miniflux with Reeder and NetNewsWire

Instructions on how to log into Miniflux with Reeder and NetNewsWire

@robb Another hiccup I ran into when doing this with FreshRSS was that you need HTTPS. Seems obvious in hindsight! Good write up.
@manternach Ah I'm running it on Coolify which does the HTTPS automatically so I hadn't considered that. Will add to the post.
@robb Miniflux looks cool, does it support filtering to automatically mark the stuff I don’t care about as read?
Filter, Rewrite, and Scraper Rules

@robb Awesome, I’ll have to give it a look, thanks!

@robb Quite confused by its documentation; is it a client/reader (like Reeder) or server/aggregator (like Feedly) or both?

(Could be interesting either way, but curious!)

@rob It is both although I'm only using it as the sync service and using it with Reeder/NetNewsWire.
@robb Looks like I have another self-hosting project on my todo list now… 😉

@robb 🎉 Up and running!

I don’t “need” it now, since I have a lifetime Feedly Pro account, but I’m going to investigate it a bit further (as an alternative/backup).

@robb Do you use a passkey for your Miniflux account?

I can’t even find where to add it… 😕

@rob I don’t, I didn’t even see that was an option
