Which, if it were true, would be an admission of shocking incompetence at one of the most important things presidents do.
It’s almost comical that he can’t think, like, one move ahead and recognize that his “defense” still makes him sound like a fool and a failure. But I guess there aren’t a lot of great options when all your closest colleagues denounce your incompetence.
