I've known people who have worked for Cisco (at least one of whom said it was the worst company for whom she had ever worked). Admittedly, I am not sure who administers the OAKWiFi network, but it seems inconsistently filtered and the Cisco/Meraki logos are prominently displayed, so they perhaps inadvertently are getting on my bad side (though IIRC, Cisco also supplied China with the so-called "Great Firewall" so it's not exactly as if they're irreproachable on content filtering en masse).
