Why aren't there more glow in the dark keyboards for a more passive form of keyboard backlighting? - Leminal Space

Is it because the glow would fade after a year or two? Even if it’s not cost effective compared to adding to LEDs I thought it would be a novelty thing. I did a quick search online and it doesn’t seem very common. Mostly keyboard covers.
