So cheesed off by this, I left the community security group. How does an admin say the rules apply to everyone to have a head and shoulders photo in their profile, but they have no such photo! You can't have a discussion in that group, and this is just too hypocritical for me to endure. Many admins forget people use accounts for other groups or business etc too, not only for their group. Not everyone feels safe putting their photo on their profile.

There is such a group in my area too. I left because they had an issue with me calling a CoCT worker an idiot, after I was able to produce a video of the CoCT garbage truck ingesting a resident's bin instead of emptying it (resident got home and was in a state of panic thought her bin was stolen). In said video you can see worker was clearly more interested in other things and not paying attention.

So I just left... they added me back later, I left again

@Sonic2k yep it is a bit sad. I wrote to the Councillor and Ratepayers Association, highlighting that these social community groups are not representative of the community at all. You either represent the community, or you are a niche interest group with its own agendas.
