I miss playing open source games. I use Linux since I am a child and I want to give back to the ecosystem. Right now gaming on Linux never has been better, but as a child my options were limited. Thanks to the creators of games like Worminator, GCompris, Super Tux, Super Tux Kart, Battle for Wesnoth, Open Arena, TORCS, Wormux, and many others (I played a TON) for making my childhood so epic. Growing up as a kid in a rural area without internet and with fedora installed those games saved me.
And yeah I play them nowadays but it doesn't feel the same, nostalgia, yk.
Also Scumm games were my salvation too. The first game I even remember playing is my father's favorite videogame, @grumpygamer's The Secret of Monkey Island. I wasn't even able to read but my dad read to me.
