For most of Wikipedia's history, there were duplicate articles about "lazy argument" (the idea that there's no point in ever doing anything). Fittingly, no one even bothered to mention it for almost a decade, and when one lone voice eventually suggested a merge, it took another five years for anyone to actually do it
