People were absolutely horrified

Why?

Because the cop in the image had a gun, in a holster, AROUND CHILDREN 😱

The uniform was also not accurate for an Icelandic cop but what people found obscene was the idea that anybody would carry a gun around children, even holstered

@baldur believe it or not but the vast majority of Americans do believe in gun laws. The lobbies have been too powerful till now. But I get it. As an American I a totally done with the American trope of the Wild West cowboy an a symbol of rugged individualism. The “wild”west was called that for a reason. PTSD Civil War vets desperate women with little protection. Plus the massive genocide that it rarely mentioned. Hollywood did us a great disservice.
