I think about it a lot because it has so many things I love in it, such as:
Devotion and loyalty from LI
One character is sad when they are no longer mostly skeletal
"What is love and why would people do stupid things for it?"
Discussions of cultivation that are so interesting and would get the nind going for other stuff too
Demonic Cultivators are the best
It's so good right!! I don't know if I've ever met female characters anywhere else in danmei that I've adored as much as I love the ladies in this story. And the romance is so slow-burn in a demi-sexual way, I love them.
I've heard it should be getting an official English translation, but no one knows who is publishing it or when, I'm so excited to find out!
I just thought of the perfect description of Devil Venerable Also Wants to Know: you know, when you have a friend who is in a TERRIBLE relationship and you want that friend to leave their mean partner who doesn't appreciate them? Wenren E is the person trying to get that friend (not actually a friend in the story but well, analogy works) to leave that terrible partner.
