Feeling really shitty. Started with a sore throat yesterday morning (test negative). Turned into full body aches over the course of the afternoon. Did another test around 8pm & that had the faintest positive line. PlusLife negative, though there was some minimal activity in some of the chambers, but nothing exponential.

This morning tested fully negative, after an extremely shitty night. Still feeling like crap too, everything hurts.

That's going to be an interesting few days 🤒

Tests are staying negative which I consider a good thing.

Yet I feel like I have been hit by a train, just getting up to use the restroom or stuff like that takes an incredible amount of energy.

Next to no cold symptoms though, minor amount of sniffles and sneezing, slight scratching in my throat, that's all. But lead in my arms and legs plus aching all over. Full blown immune reaction.

Slowly on the mend. Less lead in the arms and legs, and the aching stopped yesterday around evening. Energy is slowly coming back. Just took a short and slow walk with my partner to a small forest close by, sat a bit there, then slowly back. Dizzy now, but I did it 👍

Slowly getting back on my feet, but still can't sit long. Took care of some laundry today that was still hanging up and afterwards felt like I had run a few km.

Will try to get back to work tomorrow, but slowly.

Honestly, if that indeed was a COVID infection that my body managed to nuke before it could break out then yikes - I feel similar to last year after going through the full thing.

The only good thing about this is that I managed to make it to the credits of Animal Well.

@foosel <insert hobbit meme template> Credits, yes. What about second credits? Bunny ending? Corrupted messages?

(I didn’t have patience to go beyond second manticore yet, TBH)

@psentee No spoilers please ^^ Plan to continue as far as I get
@foosel Ow, feel better soon! I’ve been so lucky, just once so far for me.
@RobeeShepherd This might have been the second time for me, almost exactly a year after the first one.
@foosel Oh noes! I have totally missed that.
Get well soon!

@foosel Hope that the tests are still effective at detecting Covid, I need them whenever I get some sort of bug.

Also that you haven't contracted Covid, I "tried it" once and didn't like it at all.

@talpa Had it once myself already (last year in early November) and agree.
@foosel fingers are crossed that it stays negative!! I hope you feel better soon 😶‍🌫️

@timothy hey Timothy, I hope you care for gina! Cuddle her, so health gets better.

@foosel sending Dinosaur energy! Get well soon!

@dino @foosel I'm working on it, together with the whole herd! 🫡

@timothy @dino @foosel

@timothy @dino @foosel

Das ist sehr beruhigend. Ihr macht das hervorragend, weiter so 👍 💚 🤗

@foosel
My friend had symptoms for 3 days before finally testing positive. I think this strain can show up "late" on at home tests unfortunately...
@ChrisFerguson I also have a PlusLife device available now, basically a home use PCR, and that's negative as well, so I hope I'm actually not infectious.
@foosel Oh je, gute und rasche Besserung.
@timothy: Viel Flauschen!
@foosel I hope you're feeling better today. Get well soon!
