Nothing quite as awful as unexpected Thursday morning #layoffs blindsiding everyone (but the C suite obviously). If anyone knows people #hiring in #biotech I've got some friends that could use that information now.
@jackerbee can you share more info on your friends' profiles?

@stefpac Yeah sorry I should have included more info. It's been a whirlwind of emotions kind of day. Here's the friends' backgrounds:

- Senior GMP production chemist with a focus on immunology products in a regulated environment.
- Administrative specialist focused in Quality and production. Basically the SME in production but working for the quality department.
- A pair of RD scientists with background in molecular bio, cell bio, and biochemistry.

@jackerbee Thank you, Jack. Are they in the US?
@stefpac Yes, all are currently located in the north Midwest area of the US
@jackerbee What sort of skillsets, and aducation levels?

@alostkender Yeah sorry I should have included more Info. I realize in hindsight #biotech is enormous lol.

- Senior GMP production chemist, MS in Chemistry. 9 years of experience.
- Ex-MFG person now an administrative specialist focused in quality for immunology products. BS in Microbiology. 6 years experience.
- A pair of RD scientists with background in molecular bio, cell bio, and biochem. One with a MS in Biochem, the other with a PhD in Chem. Both have 8 years experience.

@jackerbee Do they want to move or stay where they are geolocated? I am currently always looking at job boards, and know quite a lot of people, I'd be happy to help if I can. If nothing else just to help them perhaps see an opportunity they didn't know existed.

@BernardDunne I appreciate it and will forward this information to them.

Edit: Seriously thank you again. I never expected much of a response to my post, but you and everyone else who's passed along leads and suggestions have made this day a little more manageable.

@jackerbee I know of a couple roles in Bangalore
@rickhunter I appreciate it, although, I think at this time they're focused on central Europe and the Midwest/US. Seriously thanks again to you and everyone else who's replied with support/leads.
