@coderbyheart decentralized redundant backups are a potentially useful feature (that we don't need most of the time), right?
@iwein I don't follow? Why don't you need decentralized redundant backups? And how does that relate to trillian (which could be used for backups, but is meant for storing transaction logs).

I meant usually blockchain is overkill, but it does have some cool features that might warrant its use over trillian _sometimes_.

You are also laying the foundation for a more general point that blockchain is almost always a golden hammer. Not sure if that was the point, but I liked that I think.
